Computer Alternatives Staffing Co-Op

E-mail Print PDF

The Houston IT/IS Cooperative" (CAIC)

WHAT WE ARE
Computer Alternatives is a "501c6" (the legal definition of a Co-Op). We are made up of a diverse group of information technology people who all met at Between Jobs Ministries (BJM) and Northwest Bible Church. Forming a Co-Op allows us to pursue jobs that would otherwise require us to go through a placement agency and because of this our costs of doing business are less than half of a traditional temporary help company. The industry response to our approach was startling to say the least. We are changing the game of temporary help and "raising the bar" and setting standards that have long been needed in the information technology field. [click here for our value statement]

WHO WE SERVE

We come from the Information technology business, and no one knows IT staffing as we do. The average length of service of our team exceeds 30 years so we are prepared for even the most challenging projects. We know that throwing money at a problem is not a way to solve it and thus are motivated to help you save money, not finding creative ways to separate you from it. We take the time to do due diligence so that we have an understanding of your business objectives, and we will work within your budget and thus provide unparalleled service.

HOW WE SERVE

Our clients use us because we have the relationship skills needed to come alongside current employees to augment the IT department on an as needed basis. We are seen as compatriots rather than as as a threat to current staff as can happen with temp workers. No matter if the need is for project work, complete outsourcing for a small business or augmentation for a fortune 500 company we will fit the role you have for us.
