Current: Windows 2000 and XP (Home/Pro), RedHat Linux

Future (Trends): Intel version of Apple OS/x (and more Linux!)

Former (Legacy/Retired): CP/M, DOS, Windows (3x/95/NT/98/ME) & old Mac’s

Currently: Microsoft Office, but now seeing movement towards Open Office

Standard obligatory practices: (troubleshooting, install, support, migration and

being a beta-testing guinea pig for new software. Also being patient w/ users!

S/W Installation: (Planning of system architecture, security & disaster recovery)

S/W Daily: User management/config, login scripts, backups, print server admin

ALSO: Cabling, router and site-to-site connectivity monitoring of WAN/LAN links

 

Network – WEB (Inter/Intra/Extra-NET)

Tasks: Website creation including drafting/design/layout content management

Tools: Adobe (Photoshop, Image Ready), Dreamweaver, FrontPage 2003 etc.

Technology: Shoutcast, Real Media, Windows Media, QuickTime, Flash Media

MySQL: Database integration, design, permissions, monitoring, and reporting
